Job Description

Factory Location: Ontario, California 
Compensation: $28.73 – 31.10 / hour 
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked 
Schedule: Night shift after training on days is completed
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to operators in team resolution process 
  • Complete repairs to equipment as necessary 
  • Communicate with production lines about machine down time and identified issues 
  • Assist with break coverage and machine operation as needed or as assigned by shift resource; this will be a member of the operations group and as such the expectation is that this role needs to be able to support all machine centers as needed 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Demonstrated Safe work habits 
  • Solid background in all aspects of mechanical maintenance 
  • Reading and use of blueprints and technical manuals 
  • Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, lubrication. 
  • Using hand and specialty tools 
  • Understanding and use of precision measurement 
  • Must be proficient with TPM and the principles of AM and PM 
  • Candidates must be flexible to support Business needs, able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime; and to be able to work (On Call) in emergency situations  
  • Demonstrated track record of responsibility, maturity, sound judgment, and reliable attendance 
  • Demonstrated team work  
  • Motivated self -starter, self -learner with the ability to work in a team and/or independent environment. 
  • Able to work unsupervised  
  • Computer skills and ability to utilize SAP work order system. Ordering parts and supplies
