Qualifications

This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day 4P (Price / Promotion / Product / Placement) development, execution and tracking within the grocery channels sales plan.  This is an exciting opportunity to build customer facing programs that matter, while owning projects that will contribute to personal development and business performance. 

Duration: June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025. Must be available for the first week (6/2 – 6/6), the last week (8/4 – 8/8) and at least 7 of the 8 weeks between 6/9 – 8/1. Any known absence must be communicated in advance to Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager.  
 
Schedule/Hours per week: Monday – Friday, 30-40 hours per week during the 10-week program. 
Location: Stamford, CT
Pay: $24.00/hour  

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Analyze measured grocery retailers data to create and maintain scorecards for channel initiatives. Identify opportunities and recommend actions to the National Account Managers. 
  • Support the National Account Managers that leverage our broker network to support and deliver the Business Plan by reviewing forward looking financial forecasts and identifying risks and opportunities within plan. 
  • Work with sales teams to identify reporting needs within existing PowerBI & Circana tools, communicate and prioritize needs with IT & Cat Man teams. 
  • Support monthly business reviews, analyzing and diagnosing market share/shipment performance to be presented to appropriate leadership and stakeholders. This includes identifying key root causes, trend analysis and developing actionable recommendations.

  • Currently studying in a marketing, business / business consulting, finance or analytics related field  
  • Team spirit & can-do attitude: strong interpersonal skills, willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on any projects. Not afraid of tackling big problems / questions that don’t have clear answers from the get-go.  
  • Effective communicator: concise written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively interface at all levels. Understanding of how to build PowerPoint Slides, work with Excel Data. 
  • Innovative thinker: ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas. Seeks out opportunities to build upon planned activations to make them fresh and relevant in culture.  
  • Highly ambitious: looking to make an impact in a short period of time. Desire to gain as many sales and financial knowledge as possible from those in the field.
