Job Description
Reporting Location: Stanwood, MI
Pay: $28.00 / hour
Schedule: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Responsibilities
Effectively create and/or manage a comprehensive master production schedule (MSP) which considers order fill, water supply, preventive maintenance, sanitation, and line load opportunities daily
Continual and proactive communications with production, sales, and supply chain teams, respond to and keep each informed of potential problems and opportunities related to forecasted and non-forecasted orders and recommend alternatives and process improvements
Provide daily / weekly analysis and metrics for production attainment, on-time delivery, order fill, capacity & planning, production constraints, and workarounds
Establish and implement effective strategies to manage inventory levels at internal and external warehouses
Work with Raw Material Planner to align material requirements with manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and suppliers
Maintain SAP master data for production priorities, supply areas etc.
Act as the Planning representation at the daily operations meeting and determine production priorities
Provide the daily update for all on current schedules, all process order management in SAP and the after-hour directives for the night shift teams to execute
Develop training guides, process changes, and SOPs as needed
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Planning Management Team to support the business needs of the assigned factory (Stanwood, MI or Greenwood, IN)
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
Minimum three years’ related experience in supply planning/scheduling; Prior experience with purchasing, material planning, or production planning preferred
Strong SAP knowledge, specifically Production Planning module
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel) required
Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment, and identify/resolve complex issues with little support or guidance
Demonstrates professional communication skills written and verbal with all levels of employees both internally and externally
Ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations
Proven record of accomplishment of adaptability to change
Ability to modify work hours as needed to meet business needs
