Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Fleet Technician’s primary purpose is to oversee the Fleet Shop Technicians and ensure completion of preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment including gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, tankers, and trailers.
Reporting Location: Livermore, CA
Travel Required: Weekly to Brisbane and Milpitas. Company van provided.
Compensation: Starting Pay: $39.13 / hour (based on experience) + 6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Start Time: 2 pm until workload complete

Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of seven years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance
· Accredited vocational / trade school certification preferred
· Ability to handle physical requirements including but not limited to repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor), with or without a reasonable accommodation
· A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· Ability to secure and maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement within specified period
· Ability to secure and maintain T4 (airbrake) certification within specified period
· Must possess professional tools to perform required tasks for the position
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Electronic Diagnostic Tools, and Electronic Maintenance Database applications
· Strong customer service and communication skills
