Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? BlueTriton Brands is looking for a Seasonal Quality Assurance Technician to support customer demand. This role is full-time during our “busy season” which will vary year to year. If you would like to have some extra income, please read on.
Compensation
Pay: $23.00 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule
Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday
5:30 am – 1:30 pm
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs
Skills Required:
- Required state audit certifications up to date
- Elimination of micro / sanitation problems / issues
- Ensure all lines and all processes are validated
- Adherence Micro Sampling Plan and MSR
- Safety KPIs – Quality KPIs
- Sensory Participation
- Monthly safety / quality training completion
- All micro testing equipment (ex UV sterilizer, autoclave, incubators, microscope, balance, plating assembly)
- All QC testing equipment – Infinity
- Access, Word and Excel – Micro-web Team rooms
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled shift which includes start-up and handover meetings
- Exposure to high-speed production and/or basic maintenance is preferred
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
- Ability to work on your own and with a team
- Strong communication skills both face to face and over the radio
- Good organizational, decision making and troubleshooting skills
- Microbiological methodology and knowledge
- Exceptional micro data analysis skills
- Ability to determine corrective actions based on micro data analysis
- Understanding the microbiological testing analysis.
- Microbiological methodology and knowledge
- Understanding of GLP / Lab Safety; Standard Methods; and basic manufacturing processes
