Job Description
BlueTriton has an opportunity for a Lead Warehouse Associate supporting our Woodridge and Northbrook, IL locations. The role will be based in Woodridge, but the Lead must be willing to work in Northbrook on Fridays or as needed. In addition to performing route truck loading duties, the Lead will provide support to the Warehouse Manager to ensure warehouse operations meet company objectives.
Reporting Locations: Woodridge, IL (Mon – Thursday) and Northbrook, IL (Fridayand/or as needed) – must be willing to travel between locations as needed
Compensation: $24.00 / hr + 6% or 8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked. Mileage reimbursement for travel per company policy
Schedule: Monday through Friday (may be required to work an occasional Sunday 7:00PM start time at Woodridge or Northbrook).
Start Time: 4:30 PM – until work is complete; 8+hrs/shift. Overtime may be required depending on business need

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in making sure warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded
- Reviewing daily achievement of targets and reporting variances during on-the-floor and debrief meetings
- Actively participate in OR’s or special meetings within the region.
- Driving inventory accuracy results
- Facilitating seamless handoffs and communicating key information to peers, team members and management
- Understanding internal and external regulations, procedures & policies and apply them fairly and consistently
- Maintaining contingency plans for time sensitive operations (unscheduled absentees, equipment issues, system or process malfunctions, inventory exceptions)
- Driving departmental results using the BlueTriton Brands Continuous Excellence (BCE) process
- Ensuring complete compliance to prescribed GMP’s and internal BlueTriton standards
- Assist in Warehouse Utility responsibilities
- Participate in the loading and unloading of route delivery trucks and tractor trailers
Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of prior experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution and inventory processes
- Prior experience in a consumer products, food or beverage desired!
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business management software (SAP preferred).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) needed.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to influence and lead change
- Demonstrated success in achieving results and driving continuous improvement
- Willingness and ability to work nights and respond on call to critical issues
- Must be able to hand lift up to 60lbs frequently throughout the work shift
- Operate forklifts as part of the loading process
