When I arrived at BlueTriton Brands, I was encouraged to not just follow a predefined path but to take the initiative and dive into projects where my strengths could be used to benefit the organization and my own professional growth. That’s what I love about working here. There is always a new challenge, a new idea to explore, and a new way to make an impact.
Recently, I took on the role of manager of internal communications. And now I get to connect the dots of this growing organization and help shape the story, culture, and overall employee experience at BlueTriton Brands, pretty cool. My typical workday is busy. In fact, it starts even before I show up to the office at 4:30 AM. That’s because I’ve spent the last seven years as a fitness instructor and usually lead two classes a morning before even starting my workday. But when you’re passionate about something, you show up and commit to bringing your best.
After teaching, I hurry home to walk my dog Clove. We love getting out into the fresh air, and of course, we’re always staying hydrated. By 8:00 AM, I’m at my desk attending meetings, drafting communications, making presentations, and moving at BlueTriton Brand speed.
Yes, being here is fast paced. You have to be resilient, and you have to be resourceful. But it’s worth it because you know you’re building something that matters, a company that’s fiercely good for its associates and for our customers, consumers and communities.
When I wrap up work for the day, it’s back to walking Clove and preparing for the next busy day ahead. I have a mantra that I say often when I teach my fitness classes. You didn’t come this far to only come this far. And at BlueTriton Brands, I see the vision and how much potential there is to go far. We’ve only just begun, and I’m so proud and excited to be a part of it. Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed that’s me at BTB.
