Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring our products are moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner and performs the loading/unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation. They are also responsible for ensuring inventory is properly maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.

 

Reporting Location:  San Antonio, TX
Compensation: $19.00 / hr + 6% or 8% shift differential for applicable hours worked
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, occasional Fridays
Start Time:  6:00 PM – until work is complete; 8+hrs/shift.  Overtime may be required depending on business need

Skills Required:

  • Safety is our #1 priority, and we count on you to ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner
  • Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers – by hand and forklift
  • Palletize products for loading
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks etc. (it’s okay if you don’t know how, we’ll train you!)
  • Take care of our products through proper handling and storage
  • Ensure order accuracy
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Move our delivery trucks for loading and unloading and perform truck refueling
  • Handle administrative responsibilities as needed (bay mapping, inventory tasks, damaged product counts, allowing housekeeping entry during their scheduled times)

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must possess a valid Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record (no major driving offenses in the last 3 years)
  • You must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift
  • You must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and be willing to work overtime as needed
  • Warehouse/forklift experience is preferred, but we will train associates
